1. If you're trying to break a filibuster,
the 60th senator, counting from the left, is the big macher. The other 40 don't matter.

If you're trying to ratify a treaty, the 67th senator is the big macher.

I'm guessing Kyl is the 34rd senator, counting from the right, or something.

4. Kyl is the best spokesman
that the GOP can produce. Lack of brain power has always been a problem for this group. They have to utilize lies, trickery and bluster to make their points. It would be hilarious to watch if the stakes weren't so high.

He's a comical-looking character.

But the GOP has chosen him to be their front man on several issues. Jiminy Cricket leading the Senate and Mr Ed leading the herd.
