Looking at the sky, thinking 'bout the Old Ones.
Edited on Tue Dec-21-10 02:45 AM by Sonoman
Sitting on my Sonoman hill, great trees and views.

What did the Old Ones think.

What did they believe?

When that wild one passed, that lunar guess.

When the day was short and shadow cast.

Upon the moon, the Mother of the tides...

What did they think?

What did they know?

Of things to come

From shadows past.

What would they glean?

Going on,
Sonoman

4. That is poetry, my dear Sonoman...
Pure and lovely poetry...

Keep it going on, would you?

I write poetry, sometimes, too...

Check my Journal if you want to...

6. ....
If unknown,
frightening,
or enthralling,
but memorable
silent noting of the event
drawn into the sand
or etched into rock
which then became a faded
memory in the backdrop
of survival.

9. Old ones? WHICH old ones?
Apocalypse comes now in your wake,
Oh Unnamable, ever revered
mountain of slime from the depths,
creep in horror to destroy the earth
and minds of the tainted progeny.
