USA Shuttle Discovery last flight at 4:50 pm today - live link - Here's to all the workers at KSC!
http://spaceflightnow.com/shuttle/sts133/status.html

To all those fellow workers who worked or are working at Kennedy Space Center I salute you! It is a sad day but a proud day. If you have never seen a live Shuttle launch you have really missed something that you will never forget. I always had a tug on my heart when I watched the Shuttle go up that this was truly MADE IN THE USA!

2. I have friends who live in the area, they say the area is turning into ghost towns.
Many many small businesses are shuttered. :(

3. About 2 minutes after launch,
I'll be able to see the shining shuttle from my yard just outside of Jacksonville, FL. It's amazing. I've only been to one actual launch and that was astounding!!!!:patriot:
