The SCOTUS gave companies a human persona
and they all turned out to be assholes! I say that if we the people cannot have unions, then businesses themselves must forfeit their lobbyist groups as their pet congress person(s) halts all pork barrel spending immediately. No more ties between our Congress and corporations! It is way past time to do away with lobbyists and special interest groups and start setting term limits. You want to bust unions? Stop the hypocrisy between corporate conglomerates and Congress first.

No unions = no special interest groups.

Section 1. All natural persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

2. Interesting.
I still don't see why they get any rights besides the privilege to have a business license and work in America (maybe a few very small tax breaks). Giving corporations human rights was almost as bad as giving the election to a criminal in 2000.

3. I think there is some
maritime law involved in that wording. The word "person" for instance. The Freeman movement has some interesting information along those lines.

Section 1 first notes that a person is a citizen and that the person is subject to the jurisdiction.

Changing the word, "person" could change the legal meaning, as well.

Anyway, using the word natural is an interesting idea, but I think it is still too vague and could be argued with. I would prefer an actual, direct reference to our species: human beings. Now ETs and androids might have issues with that, but changing it would be phenomenal.

Is good enough. Person means PERSON. It doesn't mean legal document of incorporation.
