Teacher Confronts Black Tea Partier At Denver Pro-Union Rally
Tommy Christopher at Mediaite has great video of a passionate discussion between Leland Robinson, a black tea partier, who was sadly subjected to some racist heckling, and a pro-union teacher.

As you can see, things start out with a good old-fashioned, spirited-as-hell debate between Leland and a schoolteacher, and if you leave out the racially-charged stuff, this conversation crackles with the energy of democracy. I really wanted to hear Leland’s second choice for teachers (after “Quit your job”), and I was fine with his suggestion that teachers all be “f***ing fired,” and with the teacher’s response that you don’t know what work is until you’ve taught. I only wished I could have heard more about the entrepreneurial model of public school teaching.

A woman named Linda Sari at one point interjects and asks Leland, “Do you have any children that you claim?” Then it gets interesting.

1. Colmes is fine with all teachers getting fired?
Why do some people think this douche is a liberal?

3. Colmes is a liberal
in the same way that Britney Spears is an actress.

2. I cringe a little whenever people feel the need to qualify someone's politics by their race.
The topic of race generally exists to dumb down any conversation Americans ever have with one another. I eagerly await the day we learn to celebrate our differences rather that use them for gratuitous divisiveness and a roadblock to real social progress.

6. That sucks. We get idiots on our side too sometimes. Even
if she didn't assume he's black, so he must have illegitimate children running around, she should know it would sound bad.

8. Could someone please show me where the lady says something racist?
"Do you have any children that you claim?".

There appears to be people in this thread that agree that the question was racist.

I need to know how this question was racist because it could effect me.

She said she asked it because you "need children to understand education". Was she lying when she said that was why she asked that question?

Her contention --that "you need children to understand education"-- might or might not be way off. But I need to know how that question in itself was racist!

Thanks in advance!!

9. DO NOT say a thing to them... do NOT aknolwedge their presence
this is exactly what they want... and a few will be plants to create union thuggery.

If you do not believe me go watch what Michelle Malkin posted at her site

http://michellemalkin.com/2011/02/24/video-rhode-island-union-supporter-to-cameraman-ill-fk-you-in-the-ass-you-faggot/

They ARE planting agent provocateurs. No Gov Walker did not think of it... they have. And they will try to make this about something else, including the ever elusive union thug.

DISCIPLINE people, DISCIPLINE
