What's with all demands for more infomation lately? Facebook/youtube.

Okay when I log into Facebook and You Tube lately I see a page demanding I give my phone number and create an e-mail account to protect my infomation.

Is anyone else coming across this?

3. Nobody says you have to give them a real phone number. Set up a throw-away e-mail account.
