WikiLeaks: Julian Assange says police feared he would be assassinated outside High Court
Source: The Telegraph

Mr Assange disclosed that police were worried he would be assassinated when he left the High Court after being granted bail last Thursday.

Speaking to a Spanish newspaper after being released on £275,000 bail, he said: “I receive death threats all the time. My lawyer receives them, my son receives them.

“Most of them seem to come from members of the United States armed forces.”

6. Considering the inflammatory rhetoric I personally have heard against him,
his "drama" is warranted.
We have more than our share of home-grown crazies IN the US. And more than a few of them are well-funded and well-connected.

2. I wondered about an assassination attempt while he was
speaking after he was released. I fear for him. Maybe he is 'dramatic' but he lives a dramatic life!

4. Why go to that much trouble. The man who told him is his personal MLK
could have dosed him with polonium or ricin. He would be dead if the right people wanted him dead. He is not quite a gerry bull level problem.
