and whines about how Obama is ruining the country.

As it happens, this particular wingnut is a retired State employee (Corrections), so I sent him the folowing reply:

Really-don't worry about that deficit. The Republicans will fix it by eliminating taxes on the rich & doing in Social Security, Medicare& state& federal pensions.

"OK, thank you. I should sleep better now."

BTW, I have no idea what "cujones" are.

My Spanish is very limited; I know the term "cojones" or testicles, and the term "cajones," which means boxes or drawers, but not cujones.

5. He was a state employee
in a state that pays a lot less per equivalent position than the Feds. He would just say, "Sure, the feds are overpaid, but I wasn't."

9. Oh, I don't even really bother. I study him.
We've known each other for years & have always debated politics from opposite sides of the fence. He's very cynical, pretty much about both left and right, but he's one of those guys who wish it were the way Glenn Beck says it should be. He listens to Rush every day. He's forever refuting global warming by sending me stories about unprecedented cold & show somewhere or other, & I make smartass remarks in return, maybe sending him a link to reputable GW information. When I do that, he reads the first paragraph or so, until maybe Al Gore is mentioned or something, at which point the article suddenly tuns to shit in his hands, and he's off on one of his many Al Gore tirades. A lot of these discussions happen when we're working on my tractor together or something, if that provides any insight into our relationship..

Actually, it's sort of become a game of trying to get each other's goat. Interestingly, he has "green" lightbulbs in his house and just spent a lot of time and some money insulating his house. He made a point of saying that he didn't do these things out of any concern for the environment; he just figured he'd save money in the long run.
