Great News for Christmas & The Holidays
One of my good friend's son is now home for good from Afghanistan & Iraq.

3 Tours in Iraq and one tour that just ended in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan his unit
was shot at on an every day basis and I have heard through his mother that some of the
Afghani police and troops would come back as Taliban fighters on their time off but
he is home now, he is alive, and he is done with the Army.

:bounce:

One thing about his training was when he was drinking w/ some of his unit in Italy
a patron of the bar fell through a plate glass window which caused the patron to
have major bleeding but despite being drunk my friend's son and his buddies from
combat took charge and stopped the bleeding which saved the man's life and got
those guys some major love from the locals.

One more Christmas wish ...

Please Mr. President bring 'em all home as soon as possible

1. That is wonderful news!
At least one veteran is free of the clutches of the military!

And how sickening to hear about the dual roles of the police and troops. That is horrible.

Anyway.

And I am totally with you on your Christmas wish...

5. Hell's Yes, Botany, are you the one who will help get this done?
So thankful that he is home and mostly that he is DONE!! I wish him peace and a quick transition and few problems as he works his ways through the days.

Bring them home as soon as possible is what I'm about, but what about 2014? I can't compromise with that many years. Why is American allowing this to continue? I know what I want done but I don't have the energy to do it anymore. Help.
