Paid to not work
Just terrible for a person to get 300 bucks a week. Why would they want to look for work with all that free money?

Well, how about golden parachutes? Tens of millions, not only for not working, but also for screwing up and getting fired? Where is the outrage?

1. When I was on UC, I got a lot less than $300 a week, and my employers had paid into
the fund that supports the compensation...This is nothing new - the rich who back the GOP like to think they are somehow actually worth all the money they get for doing so little, while those of us in less privileged positions should have to work hard for much less, and be grateful to them for the chance.
