No mention on mainstream of real reason conservatives wanted to block 9/11 bill
It's said to see the NYC Fire Chief spouting unanimous passage when the whole idea of initially killing the better funded bill was to protect foreign investors tax loophole.

1. Yep, the GOP as usual, protected the Foreign Markets from
being charged Fees which would pay for the larger
bill.

No one made an issue of the fact that it was how the
bill was being paid for by Democrats. The GOP will
prtect the "markets" even if it hurts Americans. No
one seems to have the guts to point things out.

Anyway, they made the Aount much smaller and got
the bill passed.

3. Catch 22...
thrilled that the bill actually passed, but livid that the repulsive Republicans again were able to inject their wretched greed into the process. They have proven time and again that they are fueled by big money and harbor an arrogant disregard for basic decent humanity.

2. The only mention of this that I heard/saw was on the Internet...
and when I mentioned it to a conservative co-worker (who is a decent debating partner) he insisted it was not true. So I printed out several pages from the Internet. You could see his brain churning. He is a Vietnam vet who saw many a buddy come home to repulsive treatment.

We simply cannot rely on the MSM for true news. That is why it is absolutely imperative that the Internet stay as open and *free* as possible. Along with the annoyingly repulsive permeation of brain-dead posters on many mainstream article comment boards (Yahoo comes to mind!), the Internet still is the last bastion of genuine news and as close to the truth as one can get.

4. It's not what a news outlet reports it's what they don't
that speaks volumes.

5. Why would MSM run this?
It would be against their "interests".

US Chamber of Commerce is supported by corporations, corporations own MSM, MSM consistently ignores stories like this.
