I regret this post so close to the Holidays
But I visited that "other" site, and sadly, some of their comments mirror some DU comments. All this talk of "spine" and "capitulation" and "surrendering of principals" must be BIPARTISAN....

Merry Christmas!

I’ll grow blue in the face waiting for anything that remotely looks like obedience to the US Constitution. I cant stand to look at any of them anymore. It used to be that only Ried, Durbin and Pelosi made me sick. Now all of them make my stomach turn. I’m sorry, but we’re gonna need to get in their faces.

Howie Carr had Scott Brown on his show yesterday. I had to turn it off. RINO/Republican crying puke. A caller called him Olympia Brown. Ha!

I’m so filled with hate for these people who “work for us” that it is truly ruining my Christmas.

Obama and the Russsians must be laughing. I honestly don’t know if we can recover from this.

It may not happen in 2012, but first and foremost, the RINO, WUSS, McConnell, has GOT TO GO!
Secondly if all of the bedwetting, bottom-feeding, scumbag, Republi-Tards who folded like a cheap suit--and are up for re-election in 2012--think we will not remember, Hang on Moonbats, yer in for a rough ride!

We need more Representation—not more compromise. Not more diplomacy. compromise is a good umbrella but a poor roof-it is the first step taken by a defeated foe. When the Republicans in the 111th WORST CONGRESS EVER-rolled over for Obama and Reid to give them their hearts desire it was America that got sodomized along with our Military.Next Congress I will remember-and I will not support any Immoral - Irreligious- un
Patriotic Government divorced from the US Constitution and the original intent of Government “service” Of Government serving the greater good- of Government under God and that under the US Constitution Only if we have that can we have a relevant Government.

This is the game they work. RINO for 4 years conservative (sort of) for two. John McKook is the poster boy for this. Its exactly why Mike Castle is and should be sitting on his ass and not part of this team. The world is a better place with these RINO’s unemployed and Demorats in their place. At least the locals can see what their blue vote has cost. Primaries for all including Scott Brown. Kick him out if he doesn’t stand for the new GOP platform and philosophy. This is a marathon and not a sprint. No one is ever going to get rid of the NEA, for example, with Scott Brown on the team. New Yorkers sent the message, Brown just didn’t hear it.

In 2 years Obama has accomplished 100% of his campaign agenda. WITH Republican help.

is purely intentional.

the Department of Education?

6. I wonder how many of these assholes
have any idea what the Constitution actually says? My guess is that like Boehner they would start quoting from the Declaration of Independence like it's the Constitution. Most of them seem to think the Mayflower Compact is legally binding.

7. they have a point though
the point being that Republicans are serving the wealthy, and not the little conservative people like themselves. Republicans, as a group, went to the mat for the Bush tax cuts. They did not similarly goto the mat for DADT or START, although they could have. And yet those issues are far more important to the Republican grass roots than the others are. But on both sides, donors are far more important than activists are.

They also do not seem to understand that Scott Brown and Olympia Snowe are Red Dogs. Just like a Blue Dog is a Democrat representing a Republican district, those two are Republicans serving a Democratic district. If they want to keep their job, they have to answer to their own liberal voters, just like the Blue Dog has to answer to their own conservative voters. In each case though, the traitor will be bashed by some internet person from a safer district.

12. Maybe it's because they are finally catching on
We have known that freepers were screwing themselves for years, that they sold out their best interests.

They know that the people who should be on their side aren't. But they haven't made that leap to realize that these same politicians are still perfectly in line with conservative ideology.

They know there's a problem. They know they are angry about it. But they can't look in the mirror and consider they were part of the problem. So they magnify what their "boogy man" have done, making scape goats and conspiracy theories that this is what "Liberals" wanted all along.

But all one has to do to see this is wrong is look at what Liberals versus conservatives want to have done versus what politicians actually do. The actions in washington have a much more conservative bent.

But there's a more pragmatic reason as well.

All sides will want to push to get their agenda. This is perfectly normal and necessary. That we see people we oppose doing this does not automatically mean they we are in the wrong. That's false equivalence.

19. Why are they mad at McConnell?
He's doing a great job for them. Wields more power than Reid much of the time! And what about the jackass who thinks we are still in the cold war with the Russians? These people need to brush up on current events for the past 2, 12, 20 years!

It'll make it that much easier for a hard-fighting, well-funded Democrat to crush the teatard you put against us.
