degrees higher than average for here. . .

2. lol
i hope whenever you do, you mention that this is weather, not climate. maybe if you say it enough times they'll believe it. maybe that even works with the truth.

27. I live in Austin, we haven't had rain in over 2 months.
we are now in a drought.

We aren't predicted to get any sizable amount until the spring.

It will be 75 degrees here today.

If that isn't climate change, I don't know what is?

13. I hear that, too. It's really hard to argue with the anti-science crowd.
I suppose they think that unless the entire world suddenly develops a tropical climate, then 90% of the world's scientists must be wrong and global warming is a hoax.

14. what kills me is that the so-called lame/liberal/socialist media
does not point out to people that the extreme weather conditions are one of the biggest signs that global warming is happening. but oh well what do I know.

18. Huh?
"point out to people that the extreme weather conditions are one of the biggest signs that global warming is happening."

What extreme weather? Every year some recent temp/wind/cold/snow/rain record is broken. There's nothing unusual about this fall, IMO.

Weather is always changeable. Can't jump from weather to climate.

17. Climate works in increments of decades and centuries
Weather is what's happening now and maybe into next week.

When you look at climate in the proper perspective, we are definitely warming.

28. The sun is slowly turning into a red giant. This will take about
4.5 billion years but within a billion years the surface temperature on earth will be hot enough to boil off all water. We need to find a way to keep changing earth's orbit away from the sun. When the red giant turns into a white dwarf, we need to find a new solar system. Maybe we can turn earth into a giant spacecraft?

33. Yep. Seasons are gonna stop happening because of CO2.
You see, the high levels of CO2 cause the earth's axis to become perpendicular to its orbit, and all the days have become the same length year-round depending on your location on the globe.

Oh, wait......
