4. I wonder if the Hurmunduri and the Bolohaemums in 800 AD got along?
Did they swap wine and cheese? Who knew the Mediterranean was Mare Intermum? Not I.

19. Actually, my error.
Who ever did this did an amazing job. There have been so many different dynasties, empires and reins over time, it's hard to get them all in.

I just wonder if one went through it with a fine tooth comb how accurate it would be. I didn't see anything about Seljuk dynasty. The Ottoman Empire does not appear to be very accurate, in particular in the 18th Century. Egypt was Ottoman until mid 19th Century, but the map of the time does not reflect that.

25. Fascinating. So many kingdoms I've never heard of
Chrobatia? Zhmuds? Rûm? Tulaytulah?

And I always thought that Germany had a presence (at least in name) throughout the CE period.
Not so. It's been alternately a part of France or Poland or fractured into dozens of tiny Duchys.
