What devious fraud will Govwalker and operatives create to steal court seat from JoAnne Kloppenburg
Last year, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker ally, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David(Women are bitches) Prosser cast the key vote in favor of a “justice-for-sale” ethics rule written by two corporate lobbying groups. Thanks to right wing partisan Justice Prosser, his colleagues are not required to recuse themselves from cases involving one or more of their major campaign donors. Now, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), one of the lobbying groups that wrote the rule Prosser rubber stamped into law, is rewarding him by raising “unlimited and undisclosed” funds to keep "the rubber stamping Republicon", (Justice Prosser) on the Wisconsin State Supreme Court to continue doing the bidding of his Republicon, Koch, corporate, lobbyist friends:

Dear Wisconsin Citizens,

The ruling Republicons have been openly attempting to break Unions since their election in November, using their activist majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and grinding our democracy to a halt because Governor Scott Walker has refused to listen to the voices of Wisconsin citizens who want his extreme, destructive, illegal dictatorial rule to cease and desist. JoAnne Kloppenburg will need a strong TV ad campaign to educate the public about Justice Prosser’s radical right wing union busting support, which is in stark contrast to the common sense and law abiding approach of candidate JoAnne Kloppenburg. And, we will need to educate the public about Justice Prossers radical, one sided agenda, and how the Walker/Fitzgerald Union busters need to keep Prosser on the court to continue to advance and protect the radical decisions being made by Walker and his Republicon ruling class.

Please vote for JoAnne Kloppenburg on April 5th, 2011, as workers rights and many other rights are at stake as long as Wisconsin Republicon Supreme Court Justice Prosser continues his radical, right wing, one sided rulings against the majority of the Wisconsin Citizenry.

WMC (Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce), whose board of directors includes a high ranking executive with a Koch Industries company, has a record of spending exorbitant sums of money to ensure that the state supreme court is friendly to powerful corporate Republicon interest groups. In 2008, WMC spent $1.2 million to replace former Justice Louis Butler with an obscure conservative judge after Butler sided against wealthy interest groups in three court decisions. Butler is now an Obama nominee for a federal trial judgeship.

Moreover, WMC’s efforts to buy up seat after seat on the state supreme court for Republicons, would have been illegal just a few years ago. Wisconsin banned corporations from buying state elections in 1905, but that law effectively ceased to exist when the right leaning Supreme Court opened the floodgates of corporate campaign funds in its infamous Citizens United decision. A vote for JoAnne Kloppenburg is a vote for Justice and the rule of law, a vote however, for Wisconsin Republicon Justice Prosser, is a vote for continued, destructive, one sided, rubber stamping of Walker/Fitzgeralds extreme, radical, Republicon agenda for total rule of a once free and trusting Wisconsin people. Do Wisconsin voters want the rule of law applied by an unbiased judge, or do they want the rule of Republicon/Walker/Fitzgerald/Koch Klan/ seat stealer Justice Prosser and the bought and paid for Wisconsin Supreme Court?

1. Are there any polls or projections about this race yet.
NPR did a story about it yesterday on All Things Considered, and made it sound like this Prosser guy was in trouble. It would be wonderful if it was a landslide for Kloppenburg.

2. I haven't seen polls, but I am anxious to see how April 5 goes in general.
It will either confirm my feelings that the GOP is fucked for generations here in WI, or crush my soul for good.

I am optimistic.

4. That's what I'm hoping for, but with their little minds working overtime to find a way
to undermine what we on the other side are trying to do, nothing is guaranteed and I believe there is almost nothing they won't at least consider trying, to win, legal or illegal. These are really sick people, they aren't motivated by love, respect, rule of law, the constitution, fairness or shared sacrifice. Money and power are the motivating forces behind these things called Republicons. They're greedy, ugly, hateful, destructive and have a long history dividing and confusing our country to keep us busy while they do their underhanded corporate bidding. Let's hope things are changing since the overplay by Union Killing thugs.

3. Little Lord Wanker is probably hard at work
building a privatized dungeon under the capitol where intruders to his corporate fiefdom may be cast.

6. The first chance since November that Wisconsin can cast votes on anything
I predict a landslide for Kloppenburg as someone else declared up thread.

Massive voter turnout makes stealing the election difficult. And if there's a whiff of election fraud by the Republicans they already know the mood of Wisconsinites in general these days towards them and their policies. Turning out in mass protest is a given.

7. I'm sorry, I can't vote for JoAnne Kloppenburg.
Not again, at least, since I voted for her last Monday at my City Hall.

9. Yay!
My daughter voted early, too. She wanted to be sure she got a chance to cast her vote early, since she will be traveling a lot for her job in the next couple of weeks.

If you want to hear a nice music program, listen to this live, Monday the 28th, at 8:00 p.m. She is playing in the program on WFMT out of Chicago. http://www.wfmt.com/main.taf?p=4

She does not know if she can afford to stay in Madison, if her salary is cut by Walker's new "laws." She works as a library assistant for the library system during the day. It is hard to make it as a full-time musician. She needs her pension and benefits.

How are the recalls going? Are you involved?
