1. Hi Ellen!
Great pics, esp. since we missed getting our NYT today! How did you make out in the storm?

Any thoughts on Paris?

4. Barely 'storm' here, but quite windy today.
Positive thoughts on Paris, of course. But have appt w tax accountant tomorrow; what a story to tell! Will p.m. later.

2. Those pictures make me feel fortunate to live in a warmer climate.
Pretty messy-looking & high-maintenance.

3. It's storms like this one that make me glad I left Boston
and I always spend a few days NOT being homesick.

We had a white Xmas here in NM. We just had to look up at the mountains to see it.

6. Snow in the surrounding mountains sounds perfect. You get to enjoy the beauty
of the snow without the inconvenience. Perfect! I bet it's lovely where you are. I'd like to travel out West one day by car so that I won't miss anything.

5. Beautiful pics but only if
you're far from that weather.

Only one song comes to mind.

7. Exactly -- far removed from it, like Warpy is (see above). :)
