What hotels have Faux news on the default channel on the room TV?
Is this a decision by the chain or individual hotel?

1. I work at one. We're supposed to rotate
among MSNBC, CNN, and Fox. But when I come in for my shift and FUCKXnews is on I switch it immediately.

3. Does a co-worker or a guest turn it to Faux?
Fauxbots turn TVs in public places like waiting rooms and hotel breakfast areas to Faux and nobody ever bothers to change the channel after they leave

14. The 7-3 gal likes Fox so she has it on.
She's never pushed her conservatism on me tho. Sometimes guests will ask us to switch to Fox which we honor. But it goes right back to MSNBC when they leave. One woman told me she 'never misses' Bill O'Reilly. Poor soul.

2. I change the station to Fox News where the TV can be publically operated...
And when company gets in the car I turn on Rush Limbaugh.
It's pretty funny, actually.

I'm sure it's the choice of the individual hotel.
I'm sure the only franchise-level decisions are about not showing porn of other vulgar movies/shows.

4. I Love My Slingbox...
If you travel with a laptop or smartphone a Slingbox is a godsend. I can watch my own tv from home and not have to deal with the hotel TV.

Most hotels I've been at usually default to their pay-per-view or local menus. How else are people gonna find their porn??

6. I stayed at a Marriott
near Boston last year.
Got the survey a few days later and I gave them 10s on everything. Then under comments I stated that I'd never stay there again as only FOX was on the cable despite MSNBC being on the program list.

13. I noticed that about Marriotts I like staying at Courtyards but the often have Fox in the lobby.
I politely ask that it be changed and they are always nice about flipping to MSNBC. Also, we don't stay at hotels that don't offer MSNBC on their selection list; we check the list before we check-in.

8. Not seen that
I do, however, enjoy deleting FAuX from the remote when I stay in a hotel.

11. My mom is in the ICU and I found Fox News on the TV
No wonder her blood pressure was so high. I turned it off immediately and wrote on the board, "NO FOX NEWS!!!"

12. I was just at the cardiologist
They asked me why my blood pressure was so high today. I told them that part of the reason was because they have Fox News in their waiting room and what in the world were they thinking running that garbage in an office with heart patients?

I've requested several times that they make another choice than running that garbage every day. They just nod and ignore me... :/
