An interesting take on the 2012 Election....
http://smirkingchimp.com/thread/larry-durstin/33351/stating-the-obvious-about-obamas-re-election

A gypsy fortune teller once relayed to me the secret of her calling. "Predicting the future," she said matter-of-factly, "is simply stating the obvious." With that in mind I gazed into my crystal ball and this is what I came up with regarding the re-election chances of Barack Obama.

Durstin swipes at Big Ed, he never liked any kind of talk radio rhetoric, but he is a good writer with a lot of insight.

Plus, he gave me my first paid writing job...

1. I like how he writes!
Very sharp and to the point.

It looks airtight to me.

Working for him must have been quite a treat. And educational too...

Recommended.

2. Good article
I tend to agree that unless the Republicans are able to nominate an extremely charismatic, sane, and moderate candidate able to extend his/her appeal beyond the teabagging primary electorate (after having survived the primary first, of course) AND Obama stumbles badly during the next two years- so much so that the GOP candidate actually seems preferable to 4 more years of Obama- Obama has great chances for re-election. The midterms this year notwithstanding, his presidency has been pretty successful IMHO. Also, I believe that this whole Tea Party thing is just a fad that will die out as moderates and independents get to see what a teabagger future actually looks like.

4. It's like everybody already 'forgot' everything about the paperless
'proprietary' *voting* machines already....

If I'm not mistaken, has anything 'changed' in the last two years about these sh*ts?

Here's my prediction (even if many DUers won't mind at all about it being accurate or not):

The winner will be the one who will be the most 'profitable' for the one-percenter$ (who historically, favor more we-know-who). :puke:

If the 'we-know-who' will be 'judged' by them to be way TOO crazy, then the President might win it.

My $0.02.
