2. More:
"The Associated Press is reporting that a man came up to the podium at the Bay District School Board meeting and said that he had a motion. He then pulled out a can of red spray paint and painted a "V'' with a circle around it.

Reporter Nadeen Yanes told her station that he then pulled a handgun and started talking.

School Board member Ginger Littleton struck the gunman with her purse and he pushed her to the ground and started firing randomly."

11. Ginger Littleton is one of the best members of our school board here.
Smart and, as we see now, fearless.

16. Yes, indeed.
But if people think waving a gun around is OK, it isn't. This is the type of violent action I'm personally very worried about. Vandalism is a property crime, it can rise to a felony if the property damaged is significantly expensive, but at least it is non-violent.

15. Yes, that sounds a bit like it.
But, I bet this was real, not manufactured. This is strange, but the whackos out there are going to start coming out of the woodwork.

8. Well, revolution's gotta start somewhere - but a school board??

Seriously - why can't we skip over the piddly school board and head to DC and spray paint the image above on all OUR buildings until OUR servants get OUR message to not bankrupt the middle class to give the rick a tax cut.

17. Here's the shooter's Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001890028704

He fancied himself an anarchist and was a big fan of Media Matters, Indymedia, etc. I fear that hate radio is going to have a field day with this.
