1. Great effort on his part (I've seen the ad before), BUT... including the congrats to Lurie and Vick

in a call that was supposed to celebrate green energy was still a MONUMENTALLY stupid move, both ethically and PR-wise.

I enthusiastically applauded the Pres for this a while ago, but thanks for drawing more attention to a good issue.

2. Well, then. Seems like we need to get him to

do a photo-op hugging an unemployed, homeless person, (or destitute family) in front of some patriotic backdrop next. They, (we) do sincerely need an advocate and since dogs are proven to be of value to this President, then it shouldn't take much to move-on-up to the human level, now, huh?

I can't wait to see the "national spokeshomeless" raising awareness about cruelty to hundreds-of-thousands across the country and their skyrocketing numbers.

That's a really rare breed of love right now.
