1. There already seems a move afoot to blame the sanitation union
Damn, I hate how readily the MSM assists in the manipulation...

2. They take anything a Republican says at face value. Too lazy to do any actual reporting

They weren't prepared.

Paterson has called for a snow criminal probe
Edited on Thu Dec-30-10 11:34 AM by malaise
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...if the rumors are true.

Reword.

It's a mess and the media are showing the mess despite Bloomberg's spin.
New York never declared a snow emergency...blame the Mayor.

3. His spin has not worked
The City was unprepared to deal with the snow. His Administration was too busy with his "No Labels" nonsense.

5. Let me know how many questions before the host dutifully...
... inquires of his presidential ambitions.

The tiresome requisite denials/non-denials.

I swear this must be written into their contract.

6. I hope he does run
let him spend a billion or so of his own money to get his ass kicked just like Whitman did!

8. Katie Couric asked him, and he replied, "I HAVE a job." Yeah, and you're not doing very well at it,
either.

13. I think his presidential dreams are toast
I think Bloomberg's presidential hope has vanished with a couple of deaths. Whether a better snowplowing effort would have saved them, who knows? If he thought of running for prez, this is his Chappaquiddick.

7. Those of us who remember Giuliani recall snow plows out and about even BEFORE a snowstorm.
Edited on Thu Dec-30-10 11:46 AM by closeupready
They would be plowing just as it started, and would run continuously throughout the storm.

Meanwhile, I didn't see a SINGLE city plow until Monday afternoon - a full 24 hours after the blizzard hit. I mean, the blizzard came and went without me seeing a single city plow come by. They are STILL working on clearing the streets!

Bloomberg messes up again.

9. When a Republican defends this, remind them that Giuliani plowed.
No matter how deep it was, NYC kept running. What did Bloomberg do to alter that beautifully-functioning plan? ASIDE FROM NOT CALLING A SNOW EMERGENCY!

Seriously, he's a third-term mayor. He's dealt with snow before. I want to see a medical workup on his brain to make sure he's not beginning to go in and out.

10. "NYC kept running." Yup.
Maybe he's slouching, because he's been losing sleep trying to keep tabs on the bedbug hysteria. :D

12. CNN just said that 5 sanitation workers said their boss told them to
slow down to show the mayor that they are needed.
