12. and one thing about Bill Murray...
he is not Dan Akroyd, who has turned out to be about as funny as prostrate cancer.

20. It's okay, I do it too ;)
I like Where the Buffalo Roam better though, but I DO think Johnny Depp is the PERFECT actor to play the part in Fear an Loathing. One of my favorite books, by the way.

23. I read most of that book on the subway coming home from work in NYC
It was a very long time ago. But at one point it was just too much. The crowded train and the story sort of collided. I almost tossed the book out the window. Thompson's a treasure. Johnny Depp was perfect. He's just about perfect in everything.

24. I am angry with you about this
Bill Murray finally got to share his gift in a mature role. Lost in Translation is probably the most important film of the past 20 years. At least in my opinion...

Take a listen at the video of Phil Davison during the speech he gave that's the subject of this thread. Close your eyes and listen and tell me that he doesn't sound exactly like Murray. And the delivery would have been exactly how Murray would have delivered it. Davison's speech has nagged at me ever since I first watched it. But today I finally realized that it would have been Bill at his best. I've been a fan of Murray's since he was on SNL. And I think he would get a kick out of my observation. You know he'd get a chuckle, at least.

2. That's Phil Davison, and no, he did not win the nomination.
However, his craziness won a place in the heart of the Internets.
