What that "15 minutes of fame" hath wrought. New leaks sites around the globe...
Balkan Leaks
Following the example of the whistleblowers site Wikileaks we opened this site to promote transparency and fight the nexus of organized crime and political corruption in the Balkan states.

We are deeply convinced that we're not alone in this battle. There are plenty of people out there that want to change the Balkans for good and are ready to take on the challenge. We're offering them a hand.

If you have any confidential documents related to political, criminal or financial topics and you want to share them with the press in a secure, anonymous way, you can use our secured and encrypted upload server. We will review the documents and publish them after checking the information.

Brussels Leaks
Brussels – the European Capital and the place where decisions are made which impact the globe.

Many of these decisions happen behind closed doors and we have been working to make it more transparent for many years. Journalists, activists and communications professionals have now come together to form Brussels Leaks, a place to centralise intelligence gathered on the inner-workings of the EU.

We are asking for more support: if you work for a corporation, consultancy, institution or NGO and want to release some information in a completely secure – and anonymous, if prefered – way, contact us now. We are trustworthy, reliable professionals with excellent Brussels contacts. We work to make sure the information gathered is 100% reliable and correct, and only then do we act on it.

We have the network and experience to make sure the right thing is done.

Indoleaks
Indoleaks emerged as an answer to the deadlock information.

..

For us, the silence of the oppressed, more despicable than the oppressors themselves.
Let us speak out.

Israeli Leaks
israeliLeaks is an independent, free community designed to serve as an information clearinghouse and loosely coordinated research project. This is intended to serve journalism, academia, activism, and research.

The criticality of freedom of expression in the effort toward free and open societies is one of the few "positions" israeliLeaks asserts, and we assert the right to free expression for all people in all nations. This site and all associated data constitute a part of the public domain.

Pinoy Leaks
PinoyLeaks is a non-profit organization dedicated to exposing corruption in the Philippine national and local governments, by means of channelling evidence to the blogosphere. We have a secure and safe system for whistleblowers to submit information anonymously.

PinoyLeaks is similar to Wikileaks, except the mission is specifically focused on exposing corruption only, the scope is limited to the Philippines, and PinoyLeaks works with bloggers instead of traditional media. It is up to the bloggers whether to spread news about a leak.

Open Leaks
Started by ex-Wikileaks staff to open in January 2011. No mission statement, as yet.

Pirate Leaks
Pirate Party launched a website for anonymous and secure transmission of classified and censored material, and openness to help tackle the network of political corruption and organized crime in the Czech Republic.

Rospil
The site is dedicated to the fight with the officials who use public procurement system for personal enrichment.

This is theft on a national scale must be stopped.

Our goal - is not just a collection of information about the theft and the collective indignation, and concrete work on each contest with experts.

We adhere to the principle that the best quietly and consistently achieve the elimination of violations of one contest and the prosecution of crooks than a hundred times to cry out that all the bad and stole everything.

There are also a a few websites that are fighting against the censorship of Wikileaks in their countries:

4. This is what organized govts around the world feared most.
A huge counter-group out there, monitoring their secret activities and airing the worst of the worst. On the other hand, it will give the intel communities around the world something to do besides fight and kill each other.

11. The are a lot more heros than Julian Assange
Lost in the hero worship that Assange is getting are the pioneers of crypto who began the fight 30 years ago and still fight for your right to strong encryption.

EFF, which was started by one of the original cypherpunks, has a great collection of documents on the history of strong encryption and the fight against the government to put crypto tools in the hands of citizens. The only way to fight back against the erosion of the 4th Amendment is to learn about these tools and use them.

Assange was one of the cypherpunks and his contribution is important, but others should be recognized as well. Do yourself a favor and get to know people like Whitfield Diffie, Tim May, and most importantly, Phil Zimmermann.

You have a right to strong encryption tools not compromised by the government or corporations. The only way to exercise this right is to learn about them and use them.

Cryto Anarchy is still alive.

13. What percentage of the new "leak" sites are masquerades by various intelligence agencies?
...Because if I thought of it, they did too.

Wikileaks has credibility and reputation. With very few exceptions, they've successfully kept their sources from being found out.

15. There has to be a backlash against the global corporatist fascists
Here's hoping that this is a growing movement pointing a laser light on them - one country at a time.
