Question: Would Merrick Garland have made a good Supreme Court justice?

We know Obama nominated him and the Repughs refused to vote on him. But would he have done well as a Supreme Court justice had they voted him in?

He wrote his own opinions compared with other judges whose clerks wrote them. He was meticulous and methodical.

So I can’t really answer this poll as asked. In general he is either not bright or has some very naive understanding of where this country is at politically.
