Senator Sheldon Whitehouse puts the Supreme Court's "dilemma" into Stark Focus

Can you stand another take on the USSC discussion on Presidential immunity? I hope so:

"The Supreme Court is supposed to decide on sticky-wicket cases before them; to rule for or against the rights being claimed and asserted. Their role is NOT to take every case as a opportunity to rewrite the Laws in their own conservative image. "

...and try to scapegoat liberals.

I remember way back when Justice Sotomayor was being confirmed, and that's what all the conservative Congress goons tried to accuse her of...but all the examples I could think of during or since then have all been conservatives trying to restrict women's rights, etc.

they don't want Pres. Biden to have it too. If I were a betting man, if they give djt total immunity (which I can't believe that they would, but the 6 thugs on the Supreme Court has shown repeatedly their deference and kissing tRUMP's stinky feet).

Not to discourage anyone, but I am already expecting some sort of 'iffy' Supreme Court judgment on this issue, regarding tRUMP's total immunity. If so, I would then hope that Pres. Biden orders the arrest of tRUMP, and hold him incommunicado, and forever. Pres. Biden won't suffer any consequences, since the US Supreme Court said so.

I know that this is outrageous, but it's time to fight these lying and thieving crooks by taking the game over and doing the same thing to them in reverse, only worse. Pres. Biden should claim that tRUMP is guilty of stealing government secrets and selling them, and other crimes too, such as overthrowing valid election results, and thus, will be locked up, and the keys thrown away. He is a danger to this Country, as he's proven he doesn't care about the US or anything else like that. He's more into stealing money, grabbing money, etc., all things related to money, the acquiring of still more money.

The first American president to have "total immunity" could also be the last, so they won't risk that person being a Democrat.

If Biden wins, their decision will be mundane and unsurprising, and the MSM will nod its collective head to tell us how wise the founders were to envision a ponderous deliberative supreme court capable of distancing itself from political bias.

Naturally if TSF wins, their decision will be transparently batshit insane and the MSM will be in full CYA mode extolling the wisdom of the most supreme exalted divinely-inspired court in empowering our Dear Leader to restore American Greatness.

the 119th Senate to begin that in 2025 and beyond.

But as Jamie Raskin says, first things first:
1. Win on Nov 5
2. Defend that win through Jan 6 2025
3. Restore the Voting Rights Act
4. Restore Roe v Wade
5. Hold regularly scheduled judicial reform hearings in both Houses' Judiciary Committees to create congressional legislation to
-- restructure the Supreme Court,
-- set action deadlines for the Judicial Conference on ethics violations, and
-- increase funding for expanded courts and judgeships

move beyond the Appellate Court levels. What Congress legislates is law.

What Third Branch courts uphold are laws passed by the First Branch, and those laws are signed by the Second Branch -- or what's the point of any law at all. Or democracy, for that matter
When the harms -- not just to individuals' and groups' lives, but to society's economic well being -- of Dobbs and previous strikings of the Voting Rights Act are presented, the lower courts and expanded the Supreme Court will uphold Congress's laws because those laws align with the 1st, 7th, 9th, 13th, 14th and 18th amendment rights and the American people's will.

Democracy has to withstand huge fights or it will perish.

These silly little mental midgets are getting caught at their worst business, juxtapositioning hypocrisy and dogma in hopes of creating an acceptable illusory version of reality.
