Trump tore this down. This was the hallway to a door on the East Wing. He needs to be stopped now.

The White House is not Trump’s property it is owned by the American people. He is also
ruining the colonnade walkway from the residential quarters to the West Wing with gold crap
and some kind of “Hall of Fame” garbage too.

The herring bone pattern on those bricks was exquisite.

Make the Republicans own this too. The businesses who are paying for the ballroom have
something like 380 billion in contracts with the federal government they also own the
destruction of America’s treasures to.

Just because they willingly bribed and gave away millions of their corporations profits to pedo Trump doesn't make it OK.

Yeah, if you're a criminal working for a corp. you will still act criminally.

All these corporations, CEOs, executives and pedo Trump suck ups working for businesses, using the corp to hide behind, are still very prosecutable.

This time, there will be no Obama to protect the Nazi criminals and tell everyone to look forward not backwards. No ones going to save them this time.

Trump's penthouse in Trump Tower was used for Satan's apartment in the movie Devil's Advocate.

He inherited his wealth and has survived all of his bankruptcies by partnering with the Russian Mob and ripping people off. He has no sense of design thinks that covering everything in cheap bonded gold knick knacks makes everything beautiful because it exudes wealth. The creativity and craftmanship that had always gone into everything from tile floors to the choice of paint, paneling, and wall art, rugs and grapery was always lost on someone like Trump. He thinks making something look more expensive means it's better. Quality and detail aren't considerations.

My memory of entering thru the east wing and The one and only time I was there was in Feb 1971 for a MOH award ceremony where Nixon presented my Army 1st Sgt (had been promoted to Cpt by then) Bob Howard the honor. I remember Nixon asking Bob if he would stay for lunch and Bob replied “no thank you, I want to go to the Tomb” that being the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. That’s who Bob was.
When I saw the wing being torn down I cried and I screamed.

It was surprisingly cozy and had a nice comfortable feel to it. I thought it would be awful, museum like, all marble and gold. But it wasn't, it had a feeling of warmth and intimacy.

Not anymore. It's going to be ugly marble and gold. So cold, unapproachable and uncomfortable. Just like a badly designed museum. Why do the filthy-rich like so much cold marble and boring gold? Do they go to museums and say, "Yes, this is where I want to live?"
