Fond memories of Liz the no man had ever won that game of have you been listening to me.

This was 2018
Did you even hear a word i said she asked me. I knew then i was screwed if i said yes I’d get interrogated over points of her conversation.

Turns out she was telling me what plants she wanted to get at the greenhouse that Saturday morning we both were going together. And I loved those moments holding her hand in the car or my hand on her thigh as I drove.

Me i remember what i was thinking how am I gonna break this to her that I’m gonna buy this guitar used mod shop telecaster good price nitro finish honey blond rosewood fretboard 6 barrel bridge classic tele wiring.

Should I tell her before or after the greenhouse shopping trip should I let her decide where will lunch yea most definitely god your a stable genius Duncan pup or wait until after we stop at bass pro cuz I’m picking the boys two Daiwa ultralight spinning reels.

Was not being melancholy just good memories.

Of have you been listening to me. I’ve learned to laugh it off and play along. I know the day could come that we’re left with only memories and they should be good.

He once said he couldn't understand what I said, but he loved to hear me talk. He had hearing loss from his job. And the last couple of years, I'd text him, even if I was sitting right across from him.
