The animals were quite well looked after and some had to be kept in large, secure paddocks, mainly for their own safety.

I could always tell when we were getting near the wild pygmy goat enclosure by smell alone. I'm talking about a quarter of a mile or more downwind.

There was one billy that used to hang out near the fence looking really cute and appealing in a heavily goaty way. But nobody'd go and stroke him because they'd have passed out then had to walk home because there's no way they have been allowed to share transport with anyone.
