Having in-born privilege does not hone the intellect like having to think on your feet, think as if your very life depends on it.

Assuming that white men are only considered properly "White" then there's a much more limited genetic pool to help offset mutations that creep into insular populations. Remember that Italian-, Spanish-, Eastern-European-, Irish-, and perhaps French- descent peoples aren't sufficiently "White".
