Leadership means you're taking upon yourself to inform and win over voters.
If you lose a football game, you don't blame the rules and you don't blame the yards or the shape of the field goals or the gripability of the pigskin. This is the game you agreed to play.

Getting the voters over to your side is the point of the game. Yes, they should be informed, but if they aren't then it's the candidates responsibility to try new approaches.
