2. Just got an update. She was given some saline packs and IVs to hydrate the dog until Monday.

The animal hospital gave her the name of another vet that should be cheaper. So, she has no idea what this other vet will charge.

Even then, the vet said to expect around a 20% mortality for just getting the surgery.
