This idiocy is endangering our democracy. This idiocy killed hundreds of thousands of people who didn't have to die from COVID. This idiocy is putting women's lives at risk who need abortion services.

I never had a great opinion of the wisdom of the American people, or humanity in general. Once Trump came along, I discovered my previous dim view wasn't dim enough.
