Doctors don’t call the shots
They are forced to waste their time on insurance scams
Testing labs can’t be trusted — fraud there is rampant
Even insured, you can wait 6 months for a needed appointment
Pharma and insurance have far too much weight in treatment decisions
Got a problem, take a pill.
The pill giving you a new problem? Take two more pills.

15-20 minutes per patient? Doctors don’t have time to learn about their patients’ histories, take seriously their side effects.

Bad nursing can kill you in the hospitals; good nursing can save lives despite best effort of arrogant-and-too-busy doctors

Old enough to have seen a lot of this, in friends and family.
The same old story gets repeated with uncanny frequency.

If i have a broken bone, I’d go to a hospital. If i have an emerging heart problem, I’d rather take my chances than go with the protocols I’ve seen them use on others.
