Hey, media, did anyone bother to get confirmation on Alito's story elements? [View all]
His story is highly questionable but it’s being reported as fact.
For example,
—are there any photos of the “fuck Trump” sign(s) that allegedly triggered the Alitos’ putting up their flag?
—did any reporter speak to any neighbor to ask if there were any such signs in the neighborhood? (I live near there, and I’ve never seen one with that specific language.)
—a Twitterer noted that there were no kids at bus stops (who Mrs. Alito purportedly was concerned were exposed to those awful signs) because during Jan 2021, schools were in remote learning mode. Did any journalists check this out?
—did anyone talk with the neighbors with the “fuck Trump” sign who allegedly were confronted by the Alitos, to get their version? In particular, do they affirm they called Mrs. A “the c-word.”
—exactly when did each event take place?
