Live audience members were also supposed to be tested but his family deliberately showed up at the venue too late to be tested and also flouted the mask mandate. Trump also infected multiple people at the Rose Garden reception for Amy Conan Barrett during the same time frame and then falsely blamed his infection on a Gold Star Family gathering.
