Here, invoking the byword, "Truth has a Liberal bias"! Can hardly wait for the videos for the general edification here. Usually somebody finds them before I stop typing. Until then my description will have to do.
So for years George has been the whipping boy for the professional wingnut class, cited by them as a Dem operative in his media job, giving off a sort of defensiveness by bending over backwards to be fair. In the past few years on GMA he has been sort of sidelined by his deferentially introvertedness and the show with his name in the title, "This Week with George STEPHANOPOULOS" is, more often than not, usurped by war monger Martha RADDATZ and Brit HUME-wannabe Jonathan KARL.
He's had his moments, like a few weeks ago when he threw down with wingnut Nancy MACE, but this morning he conducted a segment like a maestro on Drumpf's court cases, laying it out there on the theme never-before-a-president (fill in the blanks of being criminally charged). And finally a panel of five legal true experts making "pellucidly clear" to appropriate an esteemed DUer's coinage about how drastic and important the Legal stakes are. Suffice it to say that the only hair in the scrambled eggs was - SHOCKER - Dan ABRAMS, who swam against the tide to claim the current case in NY is over-charged and will result in a hung jury.
*** That said, another shocker, RATHER back on CBS for the first time, on CBS Sunday Morning. 92 years old, 40+ years at CBS, those many snapshots of his sterling moments.
