Utah's John Sullivan sentenced to six years in prison for his role in Jan. 6 insurrection

A federal judge Friday sentenced Utah activist John Earle Sullivan to six years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol insurrection.

Judge Royce C. Lamberth also sentenced Sullivan to 36 months supervised release about $2,500 in fees and restitution.

A jury last year convicted Sullivan of seven counts.

That includes three charges related to carrying a weapon — a knife — and counts accusing him of interrupting Congress as it voted to certify the U.S. presidential election on Jan. 6, 2021.

So now these thugs/vandals are “activists”?

Puh-leeze.

The six years seems appropriate, however.

I'm sure he has witnessed racism his entire life and yet he didn't recognize it in Trump and his base.

Dude was clearly egging on the mob, plus he kept announcing that he had a knife. Babbitt would still be alive if she heeded his warning that the officer on the other side of the door/window had a gun. She went through anyway and paid with her life.
