(1,355 posts)Once at The Filmore then two nights later at Winterland because the first show was so good. Both sold out I think. So they could sell out shows but didnt last.

(8,930 posts)Steve Winwood was also in the short-lived group Blind Faith with Clapton and a solo artist.
Almost saw Traffic once as a sophomore in high school, Fall 1968. Tickets were sold and advertisements as Cream and Traffic at Oakland Coliseum (indoor where Warriors and Seals once played). Arriving at show, Cream still headlined but Traffic was cancelled and replaced by It's A Beautiful Day, and The Collectors.
Saw Dave Mason from Traffic as a supporting solo act at Winterland several years later.

And Steve is just amazing. Id love to see him live.
