Legislation enacting total ban on child marriage in Missouri dies in the House

2. One thing to point out is that Missouri seems to have religious sects that do marry young, etc. which is why

more than likely this new law was attempted (to prevent this). More than likely, Missouri legislators living in the areas where these child marriages most likely happen, voted against the legislation. You would think exactly, that banning child marriages should be easy, but no, due to a large portion of these religious groups embracing these child marriages. And yes, I do think that it's wrong and I want to throw up, in that if anything, allowing a marriage at such a young age is wrong, that the children involved aren't mature enough yet.
