IOW if Dems overtake congress, could they not do away with these "permanent" tax cuts and the "permanent" sequester, replacing these laws with new ones?
How "permanent" is this crap?

(82,849 posts)By calling their latest scheme "permanent," Republicans are hoping to stampede public opinion like they often do. But as your question anticipates, there's nothing "permanent" in the tax code: everything can be changed. It's the tax code, not the Quran or the Bible.
