The one thing the Deplorables will love in the Tax Scam Bill
The bill cuts taxes on beer, wine, and liquor. The Brookings Institute estimates that will lead to 1,550 more alcohol-related deaths each year. The study found that lower alcohol prices are directly correlated to more purchases and a higher death toll.

Oh, and vicodin and oxycotin... just to make sure the unwashed masses die off quickly since they will all be replaced by automation. |

3. Nah. I think this is just part of eliminating taxes, period.
Some of them have turned that into practically a religion, you know, and this happens to be one most of the public will support.
As for us living or dying, our right to do either, on our own, with the maximal personal freedom they want for all of us is also a key part of the libertarian philosophy they claim. Religious extremists are allied with them and very active in the current plans to overturn and replace our current systems, but this isn't their work. They'd suppress purchase if they could. |

7. The joke's on them, then
Given the adverse impact of this scam on states, you know that the states will be looking for ways to increase tax revenues. And "sin" taxes are the first they look at - tobacco and alcohol. So, the tax dollars won't change, just who assesses them and where the money goes. And state taxes are going to soar - income taxes, sales taxes, fees, surcharges, tobacco, alcohol, fuel, etc. And it's those taxes that slam the middle and lower classes.

10. Putin lowered the price of vodka.
Drunks may rabble-rouse but they cannot form a meaningful resistance to dictators.
Flood the country with opiates and make alcohol cheap. |
