The constitution has a narrow definition of treason. The crime of treason must involve an enemy defined as a country we have declared war on or a country we are at war with, a real war not a Cold War. Trump could turn over all our classified info to Russia for a billion dollars and it would not be the crime of treason.

This is what I believe Al Franken was saying when he said we are losing the truth and, indeed, may have already lost it.

It remains to be seen whether the law with it’s definitive view of what constitutes legal truth can prevail given the storm of political bullshit that is about to hit in the coming year.

Everyone knows there was collusion and probably worse. The collusion is indisputable.
