The Velveteen Ocelot
(129,730 posts)The Vaughan Williams setting of O Little Town, not the better-known one, which I do NOT like.
I also totally hate Silent Night, because whenever it's sung it gets slower and s.l.o.w.e.r and s..l..o..w..e..r until it's absolutely dirge-like. It should be andante, not molto largo.

(129,730 posts)If you go to a Christmas service in an Episcopal church you'll probably hear the Vaughan Williams version. The better-known one is ...meh. Never liked it.
