? for DU legal eagles

Can a president who has been impeached or removed from office via re-election, be convicted of a felony in state courts? I'm sure you know where I'm going here. He could not be pardoned by another president, because it would be on the state level. Question is, has such a thing ever happened, and is it constitutional?

He can pardon Federal crimes. maybe not his own, but state is off limits unless he uses the same tactics going after the states AG's. They all can be held accountable for their crimes in state courts, even him. With his Supreme Court Justices , and especially control over Gorsuch, he could try taking it higher , but i think the outcry would be so great he'd easily lose. My opinion. And especially if he's tampered with them, or make implications to them for their loyalty, or using threats.

3. He could be prosecuted in state court unless the governor of that state pardons him first.

winger who would vote to acquit Trump no matter what evidence was presented? I really doubt it. Of course, just putting him through a trial(s) would be satisfying.

Also, it would be a civil crime, so the court doesn't need 100% agreement. Correct?
