They took an oath and are serious about it. Yet they know they are dealing with a madman who does not honor his own oath of office. They must be very conflicted about their duties. Not their loyalties, their duties.

I don't see how they can "not stand" for this bullshit. I just don't see it.

4. He IS more powerful. He is POTUS. He can fire every single one of them if he so chooses.

Now, is it a good idea? No, it’s as bad an idea as a mayor firing members of his police force without cause. It’s a PR catastrophe.

then firing everyone might be great PR for rallying his base. When rule of law doesn't matter anymore, who cares about something as unimportant as optics? That might seem far fetched, but so far tRump has continued to rely on the 30% base that thrills to his confronting government institutions at every turn.

I doubt those folks would react to the firing of CIA or FBI agents with any kind of outrage.
