FBI is in charge of arresting Russian spies and Trump attacks them

Trump is doing Kremlin's bidding by attacking and weakening the only agency that identifies spies operating on US soil. He just wants to destroy the FBI because the agency is in hot pursuit of his criminal ties with Russians. A patriotic President defends the honor of the FBI, and does not attack it day in and day out for his imagined grievances.

By the way, the silence of all former living Presidents in this matter is defeaning. Why dont they come out with a strong statement defending the FBI and the rule of law??

Trump as an asset, and Trump has paid off handsomely for very little investment. Vlad hit the jackpot with Trump being such a useful idiot, and such a willing useful idiot, for Russia. Putin must laugh himself sick each night just thinking about that jackass Trump!

Presidents have said anything and come out defending the FBI and the rule of law...

I am worried that if something doesn't happen soon with Robert Mueller issuing indictments that show the world the truth, then it will be too late....

There always seemed to be a code of silence - spoken or not - among former presidents. My suspicion is that's because these people have tremendous amounts of top secret information in their heads, and so are hell-bent to not get caught compromising the intelligence agencies, or perhaps national security - with a slip of the tongue. We may never know.

One thing is for certain - tRump can not be trusted in the future to honor this code.

..they believe it would only exacerbate the partisanship of this issue. They believe it is better to just let the Special Counsel do his job.

Some, myself included, believe that the House and Senate Committees should temporarily suspend their investigations for that very reason. They do not accomplish very much and do not have subpoena power. They only serve as partisan lightning rods at this time.
