The anthem and pledge thing is stupid anyway. About time someone started pushing back, other than a few football players.

I have refused to stand for the anthem or the pledge for many years now. now I will take a knee if possible.

I remind people that the constitution prohibits loyalty oaths, which is what the pledge is.

Former President George Bush told a newspaper he is sorry he maligned this area by describing American Taliban fighter John Walker Lindh as "some misguided Marin County hot-tubber." ... I am chastened and will never use 'hot tub' and 'Marin County' in the same sentence again.
