Watch Miller’s eyes when he speaks— he rarely looks at the person with whom he is speaking, and he also rarely blinks. These are likely indicators of autism.

Actors often use that last trick to play “crazy.” (See Tom Hardy’s character in “The Revenant”— his eyes are LOCKED open.)
