Lawrence O'Donnell is interviewing the author of the new book.

He is confirming all the "rumors" and it is scary. Jared and Ivanka are dumb and dumber. Even he can't explain how they still think they are untouchable. I hope Mueller investigates Jared's dad who suggested to Jared to have the Moron fire Comey to protect "the family" finances from being discovered as a money laundering operation. Denial and "special privilege" is how these idiot tRumps really think (think???).

I record Lawrence O'D's programs and will watch this one again. Now I want to go back and read the rest of the book. I'm about 2/3 along and this interview has me wanting to read the passages they discussed that I haven't read yet.

what else should I prepare myself for? I can barely listen to the interviews without saying, "Holy Shit" and "I knew" it a zillion times.

And I always remind myself that there's a difference between believing and knowing something. So I keep that in mind while reading. But that presumes that Wolff is telling the truth. I've decided for myself that he's sincere. And that's based on what we've seen of this presidency as it plays out on our tv screens.

I hope that makes sense. But to be clearer, the back stories in the book don't seem to contradict what we know from witnessing this presidency.

Btw, Ezra Kline is on Lawrence's show. He's pointed out how the book covers things that we know already. Well, not everyone keeps up like he does. Even all DUers can't keep up every single day or have people talking to us on background like he might. In fact, Joy Reid just pointed out that the book is selling out in Lubbock, Texas, in South Dakota, in red states and blue states. It's being read by people who even like Trump and they're learning what Ezra called the administration - a racket. I agree. The book does help make it clearer how Trump and his employees each have a personal agenda.

I didn't expect to be drawn into the book but rather expected to get bored after several chapters. Instead, I'm intrigued and will finish it. His writing style can be a little annoying. But I juggle the sentence structure to suit myself and am glad I bought the kindle to make it easier to read for longer periods.

You could do this for a living. I watched Lawrence and Ezra. The book basically confirms what most realistic and informed people already knew. The Moron is self serving and has no scruples. It is promising that people in red areas are also interested in it.
