Things Are Looking Up: Billboard Swap

I drive down a certain highway to get work, and I like to take notice of the billboards along the way. Last year there were a couple of new billboards that made my skin crawl. One of them was a pro-life ad featuring a baby with a quote "I am a miracle" and then a bunch of conservative BS that was too small to read. Anyway, it being semester break and all, I hadn't been down that highway in a few weeks...until today. And today I noticed a brand new billboard. I was very bright to catch your eye. In big, bold letters it read "Pill, IUD, Implant....Which is right for me?" followed by information about clinics. It was maybe 1/4 mile from the pro-life billboard.

Let's just say that I was delighted by this new billboard, and I took it as a sign that some are beginning to fight back.

3. Oh No! I meant "implant"! I changed it

Although it could be they are transplanting fetuses from pregnant women who don't want to have a baby into non-pregnant women who want a baby but can't have one.

5. Ah! I was wondering what I was missing. Makes more sense now.

I was wondering if my gynecological education was missing a major subject. I'm thinking about an old episode of Cheers where they referenced "Pizza sex" and everyone acted knowing, but then in private everyone was asking, "What could that possibly BE??"

6. There's been a billboard

in my area forever with a picture of a round faced cherubic baby next to the saying "It's a CHILD, not a CHOICE".

7. I really despise the short sighted, single mindedness of that tag line

If that's true, then all Rs should be willing to take responsibility for any children whose parents are unable to support them. But, unfortunately, their concern only extends to the time the baby is fully out of the mother. After that, the mother is a whoring welfare queen, and the baby can go to hell.
